PROVIDING A HEALTHCARE SYSTEM WILL BE THE MAIN TOPIC OF THE BIOTECHMED FORUM IN SOCHI
Current healthcare needs, development paths for the pharmaceutical and medical industries, technological sovereignty and the Pharma-2030 implementation plan will be discussed at the VIII annual BIOTECHMED forum, which will be held in Sochi on October 9 and 10, 2023.
The event will be attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, experts in the field of healthcare and science, heads of companies and professional associations.
The key event of the first day of the forum will be the plenary session “Providing for the healthcare system: from tasks to implementation,” during which the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Rostec State Corporation and other speakers will discuss the main needs of healthcare and the readiness of the domestic pharmaceutical industry to meet the needs doctors and patients.
The main topic for discussion on the second day will be the action plan for the implementation of the Pharma-2030 strategy approved by the Government.
A significant part of the sessions at the forum will be devoted to digital products, innovations and issues of development of production of equipment, raw materials, components for the pharmaceutical, medical and rehabilitation industries.
The topic of several panel discussions will be the quality system. They will discuss good practices in pharmaceutical production and control over the circulation of medicines, methods of combating counterfeiting, as well as issues of labeling medical devices and technical means of rehabilitation. The forum will also raise issues of export of medicines and medical devices, pricing and patent law.
The event is expected to be attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov, General Director of the Rostec State Corporation Sergei Chemezov , as well as heads of pharmaceutical and medical companies, scientific and research centers, leading universities in Russia.
The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
